Saturday Softening

A quiet 2-minute pause to come back to yourself:

• If it feels okay, place one hand on your chest and one on your belly. Notice the warmth of your own touch, the warmth generated between your hand and your body.

• Take a slow breath in through your nose… and a longer, softer breath out through your mouth, like a sigh.

• Let your body settle, even just a little. There’s nothing you need to hold tightly right now.

• Let your shoulders soften. Let your jaw unclench. Allow your face to relax.

• Notice where you feel supported… maybe you feel the support of the chair beneath you, or the ground under your feet.

• Ask yourself, softly: What do I need in this moment? There’s no pressure to have a clear answer, or any answer—just the noticing is enough.

• If it feels right, offer yourself a small kindness… a slower breath, a softer thought, a moment of stillness, a gentle belly or chest rub.

You don’t have to do everything today.

You don’t have to carry it all at once.

Sometimes, coming back to yourself—just for a moment—is enough 🤍
