What Happens in Counselling

One question I’m often asked is, “What actually happens in a counselling session?”

The truth is there’s no one way it needs to be.

It’s a space where you can arrive just as you are. A place to talk, to reflect, to sit in silence or to take your time finding the words—without pressure, without judgement. We move gently, at a pace that feels safe and right for you.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come. You don’t need to explain yourself perfectly. There’s no expectation to be anything other than human.

This is a space where you can begin to set things down, piece by piece… where you don’t have to carry it all on your own.

Every part of you is welcome here 🤍
