A Case of Possibilities

A suitcase full of art supplies, a heart full of anticipation, and a little nervous excitement…

In just a few days, I’ll be heading to the Kimberley to facilitate wellbeing groups in schools.
As I pack my suitcase, I’m surrounded by the things that will come with me:
🎨 pastels and textas
📖 paper and charcoal
🌿 creative materials ready to be explored
✨ tools to invite curiosity, connection and expression
I’m feeling both excited and nervous.
Excited because I love creating spaces where young people can slow down, explore their inner worlds, and discover new ways to express what they might not always have words for.
Nervous because I am honoured stepping into a new community and I want to arrive with openness and a willingness to listen.
As a counsellor, art therapist and artist, I know the power of creativity to help us connect—with ourselves, with others, and with our experiences. But I also know that meaningful work begins with relationship.
So I’m travelling with more than art materials. I’m travelling with curiosity. With gratitude. And with a commitment to meet each young person exactly where they are.
I’m looking forward to learning from the students, the schools, and the Kimberley landscape itself.
I’ll share some reflections from the journey along the way. 🤍
