Kids + Big Emotions

After school can be one of the hardest parts of the day for children.

Big emotions often come out when they finally feel safe enough to release them.

A gentle way to support this:

·       Invite them to draw their day using colours or shapes instead of asking lots of questions.

Sometimes expression comes more easily through creativity than conversation.

There’s no need to fix everything—just being present and open can make a meaningful difference.

You’re offering something powerful—a safe place to land 🤍
