Ocean Rhythms & Emotional Waves

Living by the ocean, you might notice how the water is always moving—sometimes calm and steady, other times rough and unpredictable.

Our inner world can be much the same.

Emotions come and go in waves. Some waves feel manageable, others feel like too much. And sometimes, we can find ourselves trying to hold the waves of emotion back or push them away.

But like the tide, feelings aren’t meant to stay stuck. They move, shift, rise and fall.

Therapy, counselling or art therapy, can be a space to gently sit with those waves—to understand them, rather than fight them.

You don’t have to navigate it all on your own 🤍
