Here’s a simple 2-minute check-in to come back to yourself:
Pause, just for a moment.
Notice where you are right now… without needing to change anything.
Take a slow breath in through your nose, and a gentle, longer breath out through your mouth.
Repeat this a few times, letting each exhale soften you a little more.
Bring your awareness to your hands.
Notice any sensations—warmth, coolness, stillness.
Let them rest, without needing to do anything.
Gently look around and find something steady or calming to rest your gaze on.
Let your eyes soften as you take it in.
If it feels okay, quietly say to yourself:
“In this moment, I am here.”
Let your shoulders drop, even slightly.
Unclench your jaw. Soften your brow.
There’s nothing you need to solve right now.
Nothing you need to carry for the next few moments.
Just this breath. Just this pause.
Small resets like this can gently support your nervous system, one moment at a time.
Be kind to yourself today 🤍
